Rules Iceland

Rules and regulation regarding the operation of investment firms and the securitites regulation are based on EU legislation. Icelandic legislation has been developing in the recent years due to changes in the EU legislative framework. Therefore, the Icelandic legislation is the same as elsewhere in the European Economic Area (EU & Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein). 

The NOREX Member Rules contain conditions for membership and rules for trading. These rules and regulations for members and trading in the SAXESS system is joint for each exchange in the NOREX-alliance, i.e. NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen, NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, NASDAQ OMX Iceland and Oslo Börs.
